No. Many degree programs are taught entirely in English, and language programs start from absolute beginner level. No prior Chinese is required.
Yes. The CSC Chinese Government Scholarship covers tuition, dormitory and a monthly stipend of about CNY 2,500–3,500. University scholarships usually reduce tuition by 30–100% and often require no separate application.
